PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Pinellas County should be prepared for multiple nighttime lane and ramp closures on I-275 and SR 690 (Gateway Expressway) starting this Sunday, February 16th, and continuing through Friday, February 21st.
The closures are scheduled from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night, weather permitting.

Specific Closures and Detours:
- Westbound SR 690 exit ramp to northbound US 19: Detour via 118th Avenue N, Frontage Road, and the entrance ramp to northbound US 19.
- Southbound US 19 exit ramp to eastbound SR 690: Detour via Ulmerton Road, Frontage Road, and 118th Avenue N to the eastbound SR 690 entrance ramp.
- I-275 Express Lanes (northbound and/or southbound): Detour via the I-275 general use (free) travel lanes.
- Eastbound SR 690 Express Lane ramp to northbound I-275 Express Lane: Detour via the general use (free) entrance ramp to northbound I-275.

These closures are necessary for ongoing construction and maintenance activities. Drivers are advised to use caution in the work zones, be aware of workers, and allow for extra travel time.
