Naya Young Projected To Win Tampa City Council District 5 Seat In Runoff

TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer posted the unofficial Election Night results for the City of Tampa Special Municipal Runoff Election on VoteHillsborough.gov this evening.

The posted results encompass Vote By Mail, Early Voting, and all Election Day precincts. Notably, these totals do not include provisional ballots or mail ballots that are still pending signature cure.

According to the unofficial tally, Naya Young (NON) holds a significant lead over Thomas Scott (NON).

In total, 5,111 votes have been counted in this unofficial release.

In accordance with Florida statute, the 1st Unofficial Results will be certified on October 30 at 5 p.m.

The process will conclude on October 31 when the Official Results are certified, followed by a post-election audit to verify the tabulated results.
