New Graphic POV Video Released In Deadly Minneapolis ICE Shooting

A graphic video released Friday has shed new light on the moments immediately before a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.

The 47-second clip, published by the outlet Alpha News, appears to have been recorded on a mobile phone held by the agent involved in the Wednesday confrontation.

The footage is chaotic, capturing a first-person view as Good’s Honda Pilot moves toward the camera. As the SUV lurches forward, the camera shakes violently, and the agent can be heard letting out a loud moan—“Ohhhh!”—suggesting impact or close contact with the vehicle.

Vice President JD Vance reposted the footage to X on Friday, citing it as evidence that the shooting was a justified act of self-defense by an officer under siege.

“Watch this, as hard as it is,” Vance wrote. “Many of you have been told this law enforcement officer wasn’t hit by a car, wasn’t being harassed, and murdered an innocent woman. The reality is that his life was endangered and he fired in self-defense.”

Conversely, the footage has not swayed local officials who remain critical of the federal operation. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey have disputed claims that Good intentionally used her vehicle as a weapon.
