A 46-year-old Londonderry man is in federal custody following a disturbing multi-year harassment campaign that investigators say involved stolen explicit images and a public call for the sexual assault of a Massachusetts woman.
Brad Cerullo was indicted on charges of cyberstalking and the sexual exploitation of children, marking the culmination of an investigation into a digital stalking operation that allegedly began in early 2021.
Federal prosecutors allege that between March 2021 and May 2025, Cerullo systematically targeted the victim by stealing over 340 images and videos from her private, secure device. These materials were reportedly used to fuel at least 10 different impersonation accounts on platforms like Twitter.

According to court documents, the victim was bombarded with 72 text messages from 26 unknown senders, many of which were traced back to Voice over IP numbers allegedly linked to Cerullo.
The harassment went beyond simple messaging. Authorities say Cerullo used social media to post sexually provocative statements in the victim’s name, including a post that falsely claimed she wanted to be sexually assaulted.
He is also accused of directing other social media users to produce and distribute sexually explicit material of the woman to maximize her emotional distress. During the investigation into these digital accounts, authorities claim they discovered child sexual abuse material involving a 12-year-old minor known to the defendant.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley announced the charges alongside the FBI and local police departments from Haverhill, Andover, and Londonderry.
“The defendant allegedly obtained and widely distributed sexually explicit images of a victim; impersonated the victim online; encouraged others to expose and sexually assault the victim,” officials stated in the release.

Cerullo was originally arrested on March 25, 2026, and was released on conditions despite objections from the government.
If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in prison for the exploitation charge, plus an additional five years for cyberstalking. Under the law, Cerullo is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm is leading the prosecution.
