NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – The New Port Richey Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying individuals suspected of using a fraudulent or counterfeit credit card to purchase several thousand dollars’ worth of collectible Pokémon cards from a local business.
Following the transaction, the subjects left the area in what investigators believe to be a late-model Chevrolet Malibu.
Detectives suspect these individuals may be involved in similar fraudulent transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
