An investigation into former Teche Elementary school teacher Marisa Noel has taken a darker turn this week as St. Martin Parish detectives identified a second victim.
Noel, 31, was initially booked on April 13 following allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a former student, but the scope of the case has since expanded significantly.
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office first opened the file on January 28, 2026. Working alongside the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security, local authorities initially linked Noel to four counts of indecent behavior and four counts of computer-aided solicitation.
However, as the digital and physical evidence trail grew, so did the list of criminal filings.

According to the latest updates from Sheriff Becket Breaux, Noel now faces a total of ten counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, three counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and two counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials.
Most notably, the district has added one count of first-degree rape and a charge for unlawful communications.
The former educator remains in custody at the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. While her initial bond was set at $750,000, authorities confirmed that no bond has been established yet for the most recent wave of felony charges.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue to review communications and evidence related to Noel’s time at the elementary school.
