Upon arrival, the victim told deputies that Gardner had threatened him and struck him with a brick during an argument. The dispute reportedly stemmed from the suspect’s alleged alcohol use. In addition to the assault, Gardner is accused of using the brick to break a glass door at the residence.

Authorities reported that the victim did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. Gardner was taken into custody and transported to jail.
