News Reporter Who “Called Out” TV Station For Muzzling Her, Suspended

Ivory Hecker, the Fox 26 news reporter that said her station is muzzling her and not allowing her to disseminate information to her viewers, has been suspended from her position in Houston, Texas.

On Monday, when the studio cut to Hecker for a weather report in Montgomery County, Hecker said, “Before we get to that story, I want to let you, the viewers, know that Fox Corp. has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you, the viewers. And from what I’m gathering, I am not the only reporter being subjected to this.”

“I am going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox, because it applies to you, the viewers. I found a nonprofit journalism group called Project Veritas that is going to help put that out tomorrow, so tune in then.”

On Tuesday, Fox 26 Houston dropped the bomb and suspended Hecker immediately, pending further review.

Project Veritas confirmed to The Daily Beast that they will be releasing a sit-down interview with Hecker Tuesday evening, and will also publish some of her recordings and videos on Tuesday evening.
