NewsNation posted the strongest year-over-year primetime growth among all cable news networks in the key Adults 25–54 demographic for July, according to recent network rating data. The channel’s total primetime viewership jumped 32% year-over-year, while overall total day viewership grew 24% compared to July 2025.
The growth coincides with the six-month mark of NewsNation’s updated primetime lineup. CUOMO continues to lead as the network’s highest-rated program, averaging 230,000 viewers in its 8 p.m. ET time slot.
The show posted a 29% increase in total viewers and a 41% gain in the Adults 25–54 demographic year-over-year. Following at 9 p.m. ET, On Balance with Leland Vittert grew 45% in total viewers and 13% in the Adults 25–54 demographic.
The network’s newest primetime hours also picked up audience momentum. Jesse Weber Live increased total viewership by 46% compared to the same period last year, while Katie Pavlich Tonight recorded a total viewer gain of nearly 10%.
Growth extended beyond primetime, with every program airing between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET delivering double-digit year-over-year increases in total viewers. Elizabeth Vargas Reports saw total viewership (P2+) rise 47%, while The Hill with Blake Burman gained 32%.
Across daytime news hours, NewsNation Live with Marni Hughes grew 15% in total viewers, NewsNation Live with Connell McShane increased 13%, and NewsNation Live with Nichole Berlie rose 10%. Overall, the network’s primetime viewership in the Adults 25–54 demographic ended the month up 25% year-over-year.
