NewsNation Shatters Records Delivering Record April And Massive Growth

NewsNation reached a significant milestone this April, posting its highest viewership numbers since the network’s inception. According to the latest Nielsen Big Data, the Chicago-based outlet saw triple-digit growth across its entire lineup, officially becoming the fastest-growing ad-supported cable network in the United States.

The network’s primetime block led the surge, averaging 192,000 total viewers. This represents a 170% increase compared to the same period last year.

In the key demographic of adults aged 25-54, the network jumped from a ranking of #102 last April to #62 among all ad-supported networks. On a total-day basis, NewsNation more than doubled its audience, averaging 99,000 viewers and climbing from the #89 spot to #57 in the national rankings.

Programming highlights were driven largely by “CUOMO,” anchored by Chris Cuomo at 8 p.m. ET.
