The NFL is heading back to the desert. League officials confirmed Monday during their annual meeting in Phoenix that Super Bowl LXIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in 2029. The decision follows a formal review by the league’s events committee and a unanimous vote by team owners to return the championship game to the Las Vegas Strip.
This marks the second time the “Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World” will host the league’s title game. The city made its debut as a host in 2024 for Super Bowl LVIII, an event that drew over 330,000 visitors and generated a reported $1 billion in economic impact for the region.
“We’re excited to bring the Super Bowl back to Las Vegas and provide our fans another incredible experience,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. He noted that the 2024 game proved the city could handle global events at a massive scale and stated the league looks forward to working with the Raiders and local authorities to “deliver an even greater experience this time around.”

The selection highlights the growing partnership between the league and the city since the Raiders relocated there in 2020. Raiders owner Mark Davis called the announcement a testament to the community and civic leaders working together.
“Super Bowl LVIII set a high bar, and for Super Bowl LXIII, we are committed to raising it even further,” Davis said.
Local officials are already preparing for the logistical undertaking. Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, noted that the city was “built for moments like this” and pointed to the unique blend of hospitality and sports that the city offers.
The 2029 championship will be more than a one-day game. The league plans to bring a full week of festivities to the metropolitan area, including the NFL Honors award show, the Super Bowl Experience fan festival, and Opening Night.
The league also confirmed the return of NFL Source, a program designed to include local and underrepresented businesses in the event’s massive procurement needs.
For fans looking to secure a spot early, On Location has already opened its Priority Access deposit program for hospitality packages.
These tickets typically include premium seating and exclusive pre-game entertainment. While the kickoff is still three years away, the city is already gearing up for what is expected to be one of the most lucrative weeks in its history.
