TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists should prepare for temporary nighttime closures on Nebraska Avenue as construction crews perform overhead work for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
Nebraska Avenue between Palm Avenue and Columbus Drive will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, on two sets of dates: October 19th through October 23rd, and October 26th through October 30th, weather permitting.
These closures are necessary for crews to carry out overhead construction as part of the massive interchange project, which is not expected to be fully finished until 2027.
