TAMPA, Fla. – In observance of Thanksgiving, all City of Tampa offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th, 2024. This includes the McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House.

There will be no collection on Thanksgiving Day itself (November 28th).

Here’s the revised schedule to keep your trash cans tidy:

  • Residential Customers: Normally get service on Thursdays? You’ll be collected on Friday, November 29th. Friday collections will be on Saturday, November 30th. Regular service resumes Monday, December 2nd.
  • Commercial Customers: Regular pick-up on Thursdays will be collected on Friday, November 29th. Service will then run one day behind schedule through Saturday, November 30th. Regular service resumes Monday, December 2nd.
  • Important Note for Commercial Customers: If you have a 65 or 95-gallon cart, your collection follows the residential schedule.
