Residents living along the floodplains of the Little Manatee and Alafia rivers are urged to watch rising

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Residents living along the floodplains of the Little Manatee and Alafia rivers are urged to watch rising water levels outside their homes due to the effects of Hurricane Ian.

If water is approaching residents’ homes, Hillsborough County strongly recommends occupants evacuate immediately.

If residents are unable to evacuate safely on their own, call 911 for assistance.
