PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A single-vehicle crash in Pinellas Park on Saturday has left one person dead and two others injured.
The Pinellas Park Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of 70th Avenue North and 49th Street North on Saturday, January 4th. According to investigators, a silver Nissan Versa veered off the road and struck a tree in the median.

All three occupants of the vehicle were transported to a local hospital. Sadly, one of the occupants succumbed to their injuries. The other two occupants are being treated for their injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but police have indicated that neither speeding nor impairment appears to be a factor.
