Pasco Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the area of the Tropical Smoothie in Land O’ Lakes, near the intersection of SR 54 and Livingston Rd.
The preliminary investigation indicates that two juveniles were approached by two suspects, one of whom began shooting, resulting in one juvenile being shot. The victims then drove to Crunch Fitness in the area of Collier Parkway, and entered the gym, announcing one of them had been shot and seeking assistance for the injury.
“At this time, there is no indication there was an additional shooting at the Crunch Fitness. The juvenile that was shot has non-life-threatening injuries and is speaking with deputies,” said Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
There will be a large law enforcement presence as the investigation is ongoing, according to PSO.
