St. PETERSBURG, FL. – Police in St. Pete are seeking tips in a shooting death that occurred early Tuesday morning,
According to police, Just before 1:30 AM on Tuesday, officers responded to hearing shots fired in the area of Central Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
Upon arrival, an adult male was found shot. He was transported to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
There are no suspects in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
“We are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling the non-emergency line at 727-893-7780. Anonymous messages can be sent to detectives by texting the letters SPPD and your tip to TIP411,” said SPPD in a statement.
