PLANT CITY, Fla. – An overnight shooting in Plant City has left one man dead and police seeking answers.
On Saturday, Plant City Police Department received a report of multiple shots heard at the Madison Park Road Apartments. Units arrived on the scene at 1:38 a.m. and located an adult male subject, who had suffered upper body trauma and succumbed to his injury.
The deceased male has been preliminarily identified; however, his name is not being released at this time.
Detectives responded to investigate and are currently working the scene to gather evidence and interview witnesses. Based on initial observations of the scene, this appears to be an isolated incident.
