SARASOTA, FL. – Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are investigating a shooting that happened just after midnight on Thursday, January 6, 2022, in the 1900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota.
One man was shot and Sarasota Police detectives are following numerous leads to arrest a suspect.
At this time, a suspect is not in custody, according to police.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
