HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A joint operation between the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), and the Florida Department of Corrections resulted in nine arrests of registered sexual offenders and predators.
Operation Broken Crayon focused on verifying compliance with Florida’s registration laws, which require offenders to report to their local sheriff’s office and provide updated personal information.
Over two days, officers made physical contact with 63 registered individuals in Hernando County.

Violations and Arrests
Six individuals were arrested for failing to report mandatory information, including:
- James Dudderar, 48
- Bryan Snow, 55
- Curtis Rogers, 46
- Jennifer Swartz, 42
- Patrick Smith, 46
- Paul Woiderski, 61
Three others were arrested for violating the conditions of their probation:
- Robert Revels, 36
- Cody Wetherell, 33
- Danielle Stephens, 49
All those arrested were booked into the Hernando County Jail.
