SARASOTA, Fla. – Fireworks may have been the cause of a house fire in Sarasota overnight, according to officials.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office assisted Sarasota County Fire Department on a residential structure fire that happened Monday around 10:14 p.m.
Crews working the scene said that all residents were safe and that “fireworks may have caused the fire” however, the incident is still under investigation.
Ashley Parkway was closed until around 4:00 a.m Tuesday.
