Sunday Morning Zephyrhills Fire Leaves One Dead

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Pasco County Fire Rescue battled a blaze in a mobile home early Sunday morning.

At approximately 4:10 AM, Firefighters responded to the 4600 block of Olive Drive in Zephyrhills. When Firefighters arrived, they reported a double-wide mobile home with fire through the roof.

Due to the fire conditions upon arrival, the command on the scene called for a defensive attack. Firefighters performed their fire attack and knocked the fire down in approximately 20 minutes.

Officials say, as the fire conditions were brought under control, Firefighters began a search of the home. Unfortunately, Firefighters located a deceased individual inside the house.

Currently, investigators from Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are on the scene investigating the fire’s cause.
