Florida’s Governor sees a significant financial leap, with his 2023 book continuing to be a major income generator.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ net worth increased by nearly 18% in 2024, reaching $2,087,550 as of December 31. This marks the third consecutive year his finances have been substantially augmented by his book, “The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.”
According to his annual financial-disclosure report, filed on Tuesday, DeSantis received $625,500 from HarperCollins Publishers LLC in 2024, matching the amount he received in 2023.
The publishing company had previously paid him $1.25 million in 2022. The book was released in February 2023, coinciding with the governor’s preparations for his presidential campaign, which he ultimately withdrew from in early 2024.
