~~Survey feedback will help shape COVID-19 Emergency Sheltering Plans~~

PASCO COUNTY, FL  —-  Does your family have a plan this hurricane season?  Will you stay or will you go?  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pasco County Emergency Management is modifying sheltering plans for the 2020 Hurricane Season, and we are asking for the community’s input.  We invite you to take the Pasco County 2020 Hurricane Season Survey now through Tuesday, June 30, 2020.  This is your opportunity to help shape Pasco’s sheltering plans, and to find out how prepared you are for any potential disasters.

The Pasco County 2020 Hurricane Season Survey is designed to collect feedback on:

  • Evacuation Plans
  • Sheltering Plans
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Go-Kit Supplies

Your survey responses are intended to help Pasco County Emergency Management with on-going planning discussions and decision-making for the 2020 Hurricane Season.  The questions can also help you shape your family’s emergency plan. 

“Your safety is our top priority, and we encourage everyone in Pasco to participate in the 2020 Hurricane Season Survey,” said Pasco Emergency Management Director Andrew Fossa.  “We have adjusted Pasco’s sheltering plans to include extra COVID-19-related safety measures, and we’re asking for your feedback so we can make more informed adjustments to our sheltering plans.”
