Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Local Nonprofits, and Community Groups Team Up to Provide Free Food
DADE CITY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office, alongside several community groups, has organized a free food distribution event today at the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee.
The initiative, a collaboration with Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Farm Share, the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee, the Gentlemen’s Course, and the Pasco County NAACP, provided groceries to community members.
The event begins at 9 a.m. at 38724 Mudcat Grant Blvd. and is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The distribution brings together various local organizations to offer food to those in need.
“We’re thrilled to connect our community to this resource. See you there!” said the Pasco Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
The partnership aimed to utilize a combined effort to address food insecurity.
