SPRING HILL, Fla. – A Pasco County firefighter has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography following an investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyler John Holton, 30, was arrested on March 6th after detectives executed a court-authorized search warrant at his Spring Hill residence. The investigation began on December 28th, 2024, after the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding the possession of child pornography.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Holton denied knowledge or ownership of the account containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). However, a search of his phone at the scene revealed the suspect account.
Holton, who is employed as a firefighter in Pasco County, was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
He is being held without bond.
