PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Polls across Pasco County will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, for eligible voters casting ballots in the Primary Election, according to Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley.
Under Section 101.021 of the Florida Statutes, Florida operates as a closed primary state. This means voters will only see candidate choices affiliated with their registered political party, though nonpartisan races—including judicial and school board seats—will appear on all ballots regardless of party registration.
Voters must present both photo and signature identification at their polling place to cast a standard ballot. Those without acceptable ID will be required to vote using a provisional ballot.
Election officials advise voters to confirm their registration status and check their assigned polling location ahead of time by visiting PascoVotes.gov or using the online Precinct Finder tool at PascoVotes.gov/Precincts/Precinct-Finder. Polling locations are also listed on official voter information cards.
Party affiliations cannot be changed at polling sites on Election Day, as the state deadline to submit party changes was July 20, 2026. However, voters who have moved without updating their address can still update their voter registration record at their new designated precinct on Tuesday, though officials recommend allowing extra time to complete the paperwork.
