PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley announced that polls for the Special Primary Election on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for eligible voters.

The election, however, is highly restricted. Pursuant to Florida Statutes, the state operates a closed primary system. The 2025 Special Primary Election will only feature Republican candidates and is limited geographically. Only registered Republican voters residing within State Senate, District 11 will receive a ballot.

There are no Democratic, Minor Party, or Nonpartisan candidates in this specific primary.

“Reminding everyone what’s required on Election Day ensures a smoother voting experience,” said Corley. “Our goal is to provide the best service possible and a flawless, transparent election to the citizens of Pasco County.”

Voters are strongly advised to confirm their registration status and polling location before Election Day. This information is available on their voter information card or online at PascoVotes.gov. Specifically, polling location details can be found using the Precinct Finder at PascoVotes.gov/Precincts/Precinct-Finder.

Key Reminders for Voters:

  • Identification: Voters are statutorily required to present both photo and signature identification at the polls. Those who cannot provide both will be required to cast a provisional ballot.
  • Party Affiliation: Voters may not change their party affiliation at the polls. The deadline for party changes was the book closing date of September 2nd.
  • Address Changes: Voters who have moved and not yet updated their address should check PascoVotes.gov for their new polling location and allow sufficient time at the polls to update their voter registration record.

The Supervisor of Elections office encourages all eligible voters to exercise their right to vote and to review the requirements in advance for an efficient experience.
