LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. — The Pasco County School District is taking its message to the streets—literally.
On Monday, district officials introduced a renovated yellow school bus that has been converted into a rolling recording studio. The project, dubbed the “Get On The Bus” initiative, is designed to take the district’s communications efforts directly to the campuses where the stories are happening.
Launched in partnership with Suncoast Credit Union, the initiative moves the district’s podcast out of a central office and onto the road. The goal is to capture the day-to-day achievements of students and teachers in their own environment.
“Get On The Bus” serves as a mobile platform to broadcast local school narratives. By traveling from school to school, the communications team intends to highlight classroom projects and educational developments that might otherwise go unnoticed by the broader community.

Suncoast Credit Union has signed on as the Title Sponsor for the campaign. According to district representatives, the credit union’s involvement focuses on strengthening the connection between the schools and the public through better communication channels.
The project is also supported by partnerships with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and the Pasco Education Foundation.
The bus is expected to begin its tour of Pasco County schools immediately, serving as the new hub for the district’s podcasting and storytelling efforts.
