Pasco County Sheriff Seeking Holiday Porch Pirate

HOLIDAY, Fla. – Pasco County Sheriff Deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a porch pirate.

Investigators say that on Feb. 2, 2021, at 3 p.m., the man in the pictures below, removed two packages from two different homes in Holiday Lake Estates.

The suspect was seen wearing a black Tupac hoodie, black Adidas pants, and black and red shoes. The suspect also appears to have either a tattoo or a scar near his left eye.

Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said, “Porch pirates can strike at any time. Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to prevent yourself from becoming a victim.”

  • Request a specific delivery date and time when you will be home to receive your package.
  • Have packages delivered where they can be received in person, with a trusted neighbor or an office.
  • Request the shipper to hold your packages at its pick-up facility. – Leave specific directions to leave packages out of sight from the road.
  • Consider a video surveillance camera that’s plainly visible.
