PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers traveling through Pasco County late at night should plan for a slight detour starting Monday. The entrance ramp connecting eastbound State Road 52 to southbound I-75 is scheduled to close for overnight operations.

The closure affects the ramp from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Monday night, December 1, and continuing through Tuesday night, December 2. Officials noted that if the scheduled work requires more time, the closure could extend to Wednesday night, December 3, during the same hours.

Motorists heading east on SR 52 who need to merge onto I-75 South will encounter a detour. Drivers should continue traveling east past the closed ramp to the traffic signal at Pasco Road and Tradeway Boulevard.

At that intersection, make a U-turn to head west on SR 52, then follow the posted signs to access the “loop” entrance ramp onto the interstate.

All planned closures are weather-permitting and subject to change if conditions deteriorate.
