PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers in Pasco County should prepare for a mix of day and night delays next week as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) continues road work across the area. The latest lane closure summary, covering November 30 through December 6, 2025, highlights significant activity on major arteries including US 19, State Road 54, and US 98.
Crews will be active on US 19 throughout the week. Motorists can expect daytime lane closures from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at several locations:
- Charlene Lane
- From Anclote Blvd to north of Louis Ave
- Intersections at Lange Road, Panorama Ave, Tahitian Circle, and Camry Drive
Night owls should also be cautious near US 19 and Marine Parkway, where overnight closures are scheduled from Sunday, Nov. 30 through Thursday, Dec. 4, running from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

State Road 54 remains a heavy construction zone with crews working double shifts.
- West of Virginia City Drive to Old Mill Pond Drive: Night closures run Monday through Thursday (8 p.m. to 6 a.m.), while day closures are set for Monday through Friday (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- Marathon Road to east of Crossings Boulevard: This stretch, including the area around Gunn Highway, will see similar night closures (8 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and extended daytime work hours from 7 a.m. to as late as 7 p.m. depending on the specific section.
Traffic on US 98 will likely slow down due to flagging operations. Drivers should look out for flaggers directing traffic between CR 54 and the Hillsborough River bridge, as well as the stretch between Old Lakeland Highway and Townsend Road. These operations are planned for Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additionally, local traffic near the south end of 7th Street at US 98/US 301 remains blocked. Access is closed 24 hours a day with a detour to the US 98 Bypass in place through mid-December.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution in these work zones and adhere to posted speed limits for the safety of construction crews.
