PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers planning to travel through Pasco County late Tuesday night will encounter a ramp closure at the intersection of State Road 52 and Interstate 75.
The westbound SR 52 loop entrance ramp heading onto southbound I-75 is scheduled to close starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28. According to transportation officials, the ramp is set to reopen by 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, provided weather conditions permit the work to stay on schedule.
A detoured route has been set up to direct drivers around the closure. Motorists traveling west on SR 52 will need to continue past the blocked entrance ramp and make a U-turn at the Old Pasco Road traffic signal. From there, drivers will head east on SR 52 before making a right turn onto the southbound I-75 entrance ramp.
Road crews urge drivers to allow extra travel time and use caution while navigating the detour area overnight.
