Pasco County Traffic Alert: Ramp Closures Coming To I-75, SR 52 Interchange Next Week

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County drivers who commute at night will need to plan for a detour next week.

The westbound State Road 52 entrance ramp onto southbound Interstate 75 is scheduled to close overnight on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28. According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the closures will run from 8:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. each night, weather permitting.

State transportation officials have established a detour route to guide drivers around the construction zone during the overnight work windows.

“Traffic will continue west on SR 52 past the closed ramp, U-Turn at the traffic signal at Old Pasco Road, go east on SR 52, and turn right onto the entrance ramp to southbound I-75,” the department announced in its traffic alert.

Drivers looking for more details on the construction project or wishing to sign up for email updates can find information on the state’s regional project website at fdottampabay.com.
