HUDSON, Fla. — Authorities in Pasco County have issued a plea for assistance in locating a man who vanished earlier today. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently combing the area for 39-year-old Jeffrey Smierciak, who has been classified as missing and endangered.
Smierciak was last spotted just before noon on Sunday, January 18. According to reports, he was seen around 11:50 a.m. near East Road in Hudson. Since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown, sparking concern for his safety.

Deputies have released a detailed description in hopes that someone in the community might recognize him. Smierciak is described as:
- Height: 5’6”
- Weight: Approximately 150 lbs.
- Features: Brown hair and hazel eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in all black—specifically a black shirt and black pants—topped off with a red baseball cap.
