PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Plathe Rd. and Rowan Rd. in New Port Richey.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the man and woman were in an argument, which escalated into the shooting.
The woman is expected to survive her injuries. The man, identified as Heath Perry, 53, was arrested for attempted homicide.
“Again, there is no public safety threat as the two parties knew each other,” Pasco Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
