President Trump officially opened a new, premium lane for U.S. residency on Wednesday, launching the long-discussed “Gold Card” visa program. The initiative allows wealthy foreign nationals and corporations to pay substantial fees to expedite entry into the United States.

According to the administration’s new portal, trumpcard.gov, the program offers a “pay-to-expedite” model. Individual applicants can pay $1 million to fast-track their visa processing, while companies seeking to sponsor specific foreign workers can pay $2 million to secure their entry.

The website markets the pathway as the quickest route to American residency, promising results in “record time.”

The administration also teased an even higher tier of access. The website includes a waitlist for a “Trump Platinum Card,” a $5 million offering that targets ultra-wealthy individuals with significant tax incentives.

Under the proposed Platinum guidelines, eligible applicants would be allowed to reside in the U.S. for up to 270 days without facing federal taxation on their non-U.S. income—a benefit that significantly exceeds the typical residency thresholds for tax liability.
