Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi Announces Re-Election, Seeking To Keep Promoting “San Francisco Values” And Fighting The Alleged Insurrectionists

So far 29 Democrats have announced they are leaving Congress after their term.

All but one of them is now in the House, and 20 of that group are retiring from public office, according to Ballotpedia.

But one stalwart on the left refuses to go quietly.

“I am running for reelection to Congress and respectfully seek your support,” Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday.

The 81-year-old Pelosi posted a three-minute video on Twitter to make the announcement.

“While we have made progress much more needs to be done to improve people’s lives. This election is crucial: nothing less is at stake than our Democracy,” Pelosi tweeted along with the video.

“But we don’t agonize – we organize. I am running for re-election to Congress to deliver For The People and defend Democracy.”

In the video, Pelosi thanked her supporters for allowing her to represent them and “our San Francisco values” in the House.

Pelosi identified those values as access to abortion, promoting the radical LGBTQ agenda, and support for immigration, which in context means illegals.

Pelosi also noted that her top three issues are “our children, our children, our children.”

The octogenarian lawmaker then generically rattled off a number of other pet causes, including things like climate change, education, and “transportation justice.”

But, of course, Pelosi, who was first elected in 1986, said she needs to return to fight Republicans.

“While we’ve made progress,” she added, “much more needs to be done to improve people’s lives.”

“Our democracy is at risk because of assaults on the truth, the assault on the U.S. Capitol, and the state-by-state assault on voting rights,” said Pelosi.

“Nothing less is at stake than our democracy.”

Naturally, Pelosi failed to mention her own role in promoting the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, the hundreds of people going to jail for the riot at the Capitol and her own part in supporting BLM and Antifa rioters who looted and burned cities, and her inability to identify a single American who’s been denied the right to vote.

As The Free Press reported recently, public approval for Congress has plunged by half in the last 10 months, down to 18 percent, and the Republicans have opened up their biggest lead in 25 years in the generic-ballot polling.

Perhaps the GOP should root for her to get one more term.
