When the two witnesses eventually exited the store, they were met by Guevara. Investigators state that Guevara instructed the pair to follow him behind the building.
One of the juveniles complied. Once behind the store, Guevara reportedly produced what appeared to be a handgun, pointed it at the victim, and said, “See what I got?”
The victim told deputies he was in fear for his life and immediately fled the area. Sheriff’s Office investigators later located the weapon and determined it was a BB gun.
No injuries were reported during the encounter. Following the investigation, Guevara was arrested and processed on the assault charge.
