BRANDON, Fla. – A Wilton Manors cyclist has died following a Wednesday night collision with a pickup truck along State Road 60 in Brandon.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on June 3, 2026, at approximately 10:25 PM. A 46-year-old Brandon man driving a Ford F-250 was heading northbound while pulling out of a driveway in the 1200 block of State Road 60, just east of Pauls Drive. At the same time, a 42-year-old man from Wilton Manors was riding an E-bike westbound on State Road 60.
The electric bicycle collided with the pickup truck, causing the cyclist to suffer serious injuries. Emergency responders transported the rider to a local hospital, where he later expired from the injuries he sustained during the crash.
Police have not released the names of either individual involved, and the investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
