PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – With hurricane season in full swing, Pinellas County and the City of St. Pete Beach are joining forces to host a free Storm Mitigation Expo on Saturday, August 2nd. The event aims to equip residents and business owners with the essential information and resources needed to safeguard their properties against the impacts of severe weather.

The expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Pete Beach Community Center Ballroom, located at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, St. Pete Beach.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with vendors offering insights on property protection from storm damage. The expo will showcase the latest home mitigation products and provide strategies for better preparation for severe weather.

Furthermore, individuals can pre-register with restoration professionals, streamlining the recovery process after a storm hits. Live demonstrations of property protection products will also be featured.
