PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners met on Thursday and voted to extend the emergency order for at least another seven days, due to COVID-19 fears.
Resident Dawn Bohler said, “I’m so sorry for what’s going on in this county, and I’m trying to fix me.” Bohler was referring to mental health issues and depression in the county.
The COVID-19 state of local emergency also incorporates an executive order mandating face coverings be worn in indoor locations of businesses, with certain exceptions.
