PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – With cold weather approaching, Pinellas County is opening cold night shelters to provide a safe and warm place for those in need.
Starting Tuesday night, January 7th, shelters across the county will be open to adults seeking refuge from the cold. The Homeless Leadership Alliance announced the activation of the shelters in response to the National Weather Service’s forecast, which predicts “feels like” temperatures of 40 degrees or below.
The following cold weather shelters are available to adult men and women:
Tarpon Springs
- Boys and Girls Club of Tarpon Springs
- Address: 111 W Lime Street, Tarpon Springs
- Hours: 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- PSTA Route #19
Clearwater
- First United Methodist Church of Clearwater
- Address: 411 Turner Street, Clearwater
- Hours: 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Pinellas Park
- Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast in Pinellas Park
