PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – With temperatures set to drop, Pinellas County is opening its cold night shelters this Monday, Jan. 26.

The Homeless Leadership Alliance gave the green light to open the doors because the “feels like” temperature is expected to dip to 40 degrees or lower. If you or someone you know needs a safe place to sleep, these locations will be open from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Guests are accepted until the shelters are full. Everyone gets a warm, safe place to sleep, and many locations will also provide a meal.
