ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Pinellas County remains under a tropical storm watch and can expect to feel some impact.
Beginning Wednesday evening and continuing through Thursday, residents should expect increased winds with tropical-storm-force winds within the rain bands.
The potential of heavy rain could bring localized flooding.
A below-normal tide is expected on Wednesday with an above-normal tide on Thursday into Friday (potential of 1-3 feet).
“This is a reminder that hurricane season is not over and we must remain vigilant in our preparations. The City of St. Petersburg will continue to monitor the storm’s path and asks the public to watch for weather updates as the forecast may change,” said St. Petersburg Police Department.
