PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has announced a press conference for this afternoon regarding a highly sensitive arrest. Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will address reporters at 4:00 p.m. today to discuss the details surrounding an adoptive parent who is facing multiple criminal charges.
According to the agency, the individual was taken into custody on counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Sexual Activity Involving Animals.
The sheriff’s office has kept further details regarding the suspect’s identity and the nature of the investigation tightly under wraps ahead of the scheduled meeting. In the alert, the department explicitly noted that “no additional information will be provided prior to the press conference.”
