PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Pinellas County should be aware of upcoming overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 275 and State Road 690 (Gateway Expressway) starting tonight, February 7th.
The closures are necessary for ongoing construction and maintenance activities.
Westbound SR 690 exit ramp to northbound US 19: Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and Sunday through Friday nights. Detour via 118th Avenue N and Frontage Road.
Southbound US 19 exit ramp to eastbound SR 690: Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and Sunday through Friday nights. Detour via Ulmerton Road, Frontage Road, and 118th Avenue N.

I-275 Express Lanes: Northbound and/or southbound lanes may be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and Sunday through Friday nights. Detour via the I-275 general use (free) lanes.
Eastbound SR 690 Express Lane ramp to northbound I-275 Express Lane: Closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and Sunday through Friday nights. Detour via the general use (free) entrance ramp to northbound I-275.
All closures are weather permitting. Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling in these areas during the overnight hours and to allow extra time for their commutes.
