Pinellas County Detectives Investigate Fatal Residential Fire In Unincorporated Largo

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 68-year-old man and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a fire ripped through a residence on Thursday.

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, at approximately 11:46 a.m., deputies responded to 10675 Seminole Boulevard Unit 41 in Unincorporated Largo for a fire. When deputies arrived on the scene, the Seminole Fire Department was actively fighting the fire.

Detectives say the fire department pulled the victim, 68-year-old Clayton Wilson, from the structure. Wilson was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit and Burglary/Pawn (Arson) Unit are investigating the fire and say the fire does not appear suspicious in nature.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
