Pinellas Park: Police Seeking Suspect in Bicycle Hit and Run

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – At approximately 4:20 AM, officers were dispatched to a crash in the 6200 Blk of 66th Street involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered the vehicle involved in the crash had fled the scene before law enforcement’s arrival.  The bicyclist, Dustin Kwilecki, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital listed in critical condition.

Through investigation, it was learned Dustin Kwilecki was traveling south along 66th St on his bicycle when the suspect vehicle struck him from behind. 

After the collision, the vehicle fled, failing to remain on the scene of the crash.

The suspect vehicle is described as a red 2006-2010 Chrysler 300 or 2006-2010 Dodge Magnum.  The vehicle should have damage to the front passenger corner and is missing the passenger side mirror.
