Plant City Election Update – Early Voting Begins Friday, March 31

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer is reminding voters who live in Plant City that in-person voting for the 2023 Plant City Municipal Election begins Friday.

Voters should bring a Florida Driver’s License or other valid photo and signature ID with them to vote. All acceptable forms of ID are listed at VoteHillsborough.gov.

Only registered voters who live in the City of Plant City are eligible to vote in this election. One race is on the ballot: candidates Jeremy Griner and Michael S. Sparkman running for City Commissioner, Group 4.

Voters who choose to vote in person can vote during Early Voting or on Election Day:

Early Voting: Early Voting takes place at Plant City’s City Hall, 302 W. Reynolds Street, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1.

Voters with Vote By Mail ballots can also drop their mail ballot off at a Secure Ballot Intake Station at this site during Early Voting.

Election Day: Election Day is Tuesday, April 4. All voters vote at Plant City’s City Hall, and voting will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vote By Mail ballots cannot be accepted at this location on Election Day, but a voter who received a Vote By Mail ballot can choose to vote in person, instead.

Vote By Mail: To date, the Supervisor of Elections Office has received more than 650 Vote By Mail ballots. Vote By Mail ballots must be in the Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7 p.m. Election Day to be counted.

Unofficial turnout for all methods of voting will be updated at VoteHillsborough.gov on the Plant City Municipal Election page.

Results will be reported at VoteHillsborough.gov shortly after the polls close at 7 p.m.
